This group’s purpose is to organize regular acoustic jam sessions in a supportive and friendly environment. This is not an open mic. As I see it, the purpose of an open mic is for an individual to prepare a 15-20 min performance and present it to an audience. This group is for acoustic lovers who are self trained to those who are classically trained. Advanced beginners to professionals are invited. (Advanced beginner meaning players should be able to move smoothly through 3-4 basic chords). While the name says "guitar", this group is acoustic in general.
